ቡሄ ማለት የበራ ፣ የደመቀ ፣ የጎላ - ከሚለው ትርጓሜ በመነሳት ጌታችን መድኅኒታችን እየሱስ ክርስቶስ በብርሃነ መለኮትነቱ ሲገለጥ በደብረ ታቦር የነበረውን የጎላ የደመቀ ብርሃንነቱን አስመልክቶ ፣ በኢትዮጲያ ለዘመናት ሲከበር የነበረ ፣ እና አሁንም ወደፊትም የሚከበር ልዩ የኢትዮጲያ የብርሃን ዓውድ ዓመት ነው። ይህንን ተአምር አብረውን ለመቋደስ ለሚሹ ሁሉ ክፍት የሆነ እና ሁሉንም በፍቅር የሚቀበል ዓወድ ዓመት ነው፡፡
BUHE is Ethiopia’s core tradition of the celebration of light and joy for generations, dedicated to the transfiguration of Yashua [ Jesus Christ ] to light in His God form on mount tabor; (Mathew 17). Ever since that time, the day has been and is still being celebrated in Ethiopian villages and homes as an all inclusive celebration, open to all who choose to experience this celebration of light and joy.

የቡሄ ዝግጅት ፤ ትውልዱ የባህል እና የታሪክ ቅርሱን አግኝቶ ፣ መላው ቤተሰብ አብሮ እንዲዝናና ምቹ ቦታ አሰናድቶ ፣ የተለያዩ ግለሰቦችን እና ተቋማትን በአንድ ሃሳብ አሳትፎ ፣ የጎላ እና የደመቀ ፤ ከልብ የማይጠፋ ፤ ትውልዱ በባህሉ ታቅፎ ማንነቱን የሚያውቅበትን ፣ የሚኮራበትን ልዩ ቀን ፣ በዓመት አንዴ እዚህ አሜሪካ ውስጥ ቀርጿል ። ይህን ልዩ ዝግጅት ደግሞ የተለያዩ ለትውልዱ ጥሩ እና ቀና አገልግሎት የሚሰጡ ድርጅቶችን በማሳተፍ ፣ ለህዝቡ መባ ለማቅረብ ፤ ሆ! ብለን ተነስተናል።

ቡሄ በሉ ... ሆ! ሆያ ሆዬ ... ሆ! ቅዳሜ ኦገስት 15 ቡሄን በአሜሪካ እንድባህላችን እርሻ ላይ እናክብር ፤ ችቦ ሰርተን ከቤተሰቦቻችን ጋር እናብራ ፤ ባህላዊ ጨዋታዎችን እየተጫወትን ከመላው ውድ ቤተሰባችን ጋር መቼም ያማይረሳ ጊዜ ይሁንልን።።

ቡሄን በአሜሪካ እንድባህላችን እርሻ ላይ እናክብር ፤ ችቦ ሰርተን ከቤተሰቦቻችን ጋር እናብራ ፤ ባህላዊ ጨዋታዎችን እየተጫወትን ከመላው ውድ ቤተሰባችን ጋር መቼም የማይረሳ ጊዜ ይሁንልን።።
2023 : ቡሄ ሲጀመር
ቡሄን በአሜሪካ እርሻ ላይ የጀመርነው ፣ ለትውልዱ ቡሄን ሃገራችን ኢትዮጲያ እያለን ፣ እንዴት እንዳከበርነው ለማስተማር ከነበረን ንፁህ ዓላማ ነው። የመጀመሪያው ቡሄ ዝግጅታችን ላይ ፣ ጥቂት የቅርብ ቤተሰብና ጓደኞቻችን ከመላው ቤተሰባቸው ታድመው ፤ ልጆቹን የባህል ጨዋታዎችና ሙዚቃ አጫወትናቸው ፡፡ ከእርሻ እንስሶች ጋር ተራወጡ ፤ የአትክልቶቹን መዓዛ አሽተቱ ። ችቦ ከቤተሰቦቻቸው ጋር ሰሩና ምሽት ላይ ሆያ ሆዬ ብለን ችቦ አበራን። ምርጥ የማይረሳ ፤ ለመላው ቤተሰብ የሚመጥን ልዩ ቀን በአመት አንዴ ለትውልዱ ቀረፅን ።
2023 : FIRST BUHE FEST
BUHE FEST was created to address the lack of family focused cultural activity to show our young family members here in the US, the true essence and culture of BUHE celebration in Ethiopia. The children played generational traditional games, interacted with farm animals and toured botanical garden at the farm, played music, and painted with beteseb. Parents were also part taking and full-joying, or relaxed mindful for the first time in a long time because the team at BUHE kept the children happy and in full immersive nostalgic cultural experience. Families made chibo for the highlight of the event, the lighting of the chibo [bon fire]. It was the inception of an annual nostalgic fun day for all members of the family.
2024 : ሁለተኛው ቡሄ
ሁለተኛው የቡሄ ዝግጅታችን ከመጀመሪያው የበለጠ ደምቆ ፣ የታዳሚው ቁጥርም በእጥፍ አድጎ ታየ ። የተለመደው ባሀላዊ ጨዋታ ፤ ችቦ መስራቱ ፤ እና የችቦ ማብራት ወጉም ልዩ ነበር። ጋሽ ዓለሜ ታደሰ ቤተሰብ ተሰብስቦ እንዲስል መንፈሱን እንዲያድስ የስእል መሳያውን እና ወርቃማ ጊዜአቸውን ለገሱን። ተዋኃዱ [ቴዎድሮስ አክሊሉ] በፒያኖ ፤ ሚኪያስ በከበሮ ፤ ኬይ አለን በቤዝ ፤ አንዲ ቤተዜማ በጊታር ፤ ሙኒት በድምጿ ፤ ሰጠኝ አጠናው በድምጹ እና በማሲንቆው ፤ የአራዳ ባንድ ሆነው በምርጥ ሙዚቃ አዝናኑን ፡፡ ለታዳሚው ሸንኮራ ፤ ማንጎ ፤ እና የኮኮናት ውሃ በማቅረብ በዲሲ በኮኮናት ውሃ የታወቁት ፍሬንቺ ወንድማማቾች ተባብረውን ቡሄን በባህል የበለጠ አደመቁልን። ይህን ሁሉ ክስተት ደግሞ "መልክአድባር" ተባብረውን በካሜራ እና በፎቶ ቀረጹልን። ያኔ ቡሄ ለመሃበረሰቡ ባህሉን እንዲያገኝ ያበረከተውን አስተዋጾ ከመገንዘብ የበለጠ ለማጠንከር ተነሳሳን።
2024 : SECOND BUHE FEST
The second buhe was much larger in attendance. The traditional game was much larger. We had Artist Aleme Tadesse host a paint with family session outside for families. We had DC coconut man with coconut water, sugar cane, and mangos to lively up the culture more. The Arada Band featuring TewAhadoo on Keys, Mickias on the drums, Kay Allen on the bass, Andy Betezema on the Guitar, Munit on Vocal, and Setegne Atenaw on Massinqo and Vocal blessed us with great music. The chibo making and the bon fire was much larger than the previous year. There, we saw how big this BUHE at the farm means to our communities of families in keeping culture accessible to the diaspora and decided to incorporate BUHE FEST in the state of Maryland.
2025 : ሶስተኛው ቡሄ
ቡሄን በአሜሪካ እርሻ ላይ የጀመርነው ፣ ለትውልዱ ቡሄን ሃገራችን ኢትዮጲያ እያለን ፣ እንዴት እንዳከበርነው ለማስተማር ከነበረን ንፁህ ዓላማ ነው።
